Intimate weddings are truly something amazing. They are intentional, personal, and relaxed. Shaun and I had a small, intimate wedding ourselves, so not only do we understand the sentiment, but we also value the experience.

We warmly and eagerly anticipate our small weddings. They are a slow, deep breath amidst the frenzy of fast-paced, big wedding excitement. The schedules are loose, leaving the bride and groom ample opportunity for private moments with one another and extended conversations with their nearest and dearest. Also, a reduced guest list means more funds for food, drinks, and adventures!

But our favorite part about our intimate weddings is the quality of candid photographs that come out of them. The bride and groom are surrounded by the few closest people and have the freedom to be themselves, resulting in some truly heartwarming moments with their favorite people.

Pro-tip: if you want to keep it small without hurting anybody's feelings, a great option is an intimate destination wedding, more info on our Intimate Destination Wedding Photographer page.
